No Potions for sale?

This game is great! The only big issue Ive experienced is no shops sell potions or hi-potions or anything, they can only be collected. Looking on game FAQs that seems wrong. Ive only noticed one issue of freezing when talking to a merchant and a couple blackouts/restarts but they werent big.
