So this game seems fun, and Ive been loving the entire catalog of square Enix on my iPhone 5s, but when I try to do anything it will inevitable crash after Ive been playing for about 20 minutes and the resume/auto save always takes me to one very specifically bad place to save. Like me being ... Maybe level 4 and fighting things that can do over 400 damage in just one hit. So I restart, it crashes and sends me back to the crazy strong monster spot?!? Cant wait for the issue to be fixed. I can give it a more accurate rating after that. And this is from a non nostalgia point of view. Ive played very few squareenix games as of yet and have thus far really enjoyed each one I have played. I hope one ff2 is fixed it will be the same. 7-15$ is too steep of a price tag for them to not solve this issue in a timely matter.

Hey Square Enix, please, please add support for MFi game controllers to Final Fantasy I & II for iOS. You support controllers for FF 3 through 7, so why no love for 1 and 2? I hope it’s not another three years between app updates before you fix this…and all the app crashes everybody is reporting.

Its literally been years. We paid to place this app. Please just take the time to make it playable. Playable, thats all we ask.

Guys I found a way around the toad thing and crashing whenever a random battle happens! Delete your file, and START FROM THE VERY BEGINNING

First and foremost, two years without an update to fix game freezing is too F-ing long!!! However, now I can play, I would like to see a auto or even a manual screen rotation ability. (iPad Air 2)

I like this game even though there are still bugs and seriously need the auto button for combat to smooth out my experience

Yeah great. They fixed it so that my fourth party member shows up! But not if I talk to the final boss? And I still cant get into a battle without the game crashing!

This game is amazing! Trust me. Best 8$ dollars spent. But I just have a minor bug I want fixed. When I use my level 6 blizzard, all the ice animation comes except for the grand finale which is the giant ice ball. I would be delighted if this was fixed and edited. But anyways, great job!

Please fix this game! Constant freezing means you need to obsessively save every few minutes. Also, the white ff2 logo bars on the sides are obnoxious.

So disappointed in spending eight dollars at an app that I can even play I would not recommend purchasing this app at all until all of the bugs are worked out. It definitely has potential but its a waste of $8 right now

My experiences with Final Fantasy II were nothing short of splendid pleasure. The individual stat strengthening rather than full in character leveling provides endless character customization. I encountered no glitches and only 2 or 3 crashes during my 30+ hour adventure.

If you are new to the ff series I suggest starting off with either 7 5 or 1 but if you have experience with those then get 2 this one is the most interesting because it resembles skyrims leveling system

Despite the hot-or-cold reviews, I went ahead and bought the game. Im beginning to regret that decision today. I encountered the bug where all the games sound completely stops, twice. The first time I was able to fix it by fully closing the game and shutting down my phone. When I turned it back on the game ran just as youd expect. I was not so fortunate the second time.

This was a phenomenal experience despite a few technical deficiencies. The story line and characters are on point and the graphics are great for this being a first generation game. There is no way to mute the volume and the music is annoying after a while. Nice game, I recommend this if you like final fantasy.

I am at the point where I have defeated the chimera boss in the Deist Cavern room, and I am supposed to put the Wyvern Egg in the spring the beast was guarding. But it WONT LET ME DO THIS. The item is grayed out, even when I am standing next to the stream! Playing this on an iPad Pro. Hoping this can be fixed? Please?

The game keeps losing connection and then freezing. I then have to shut the app down completely and go back in. Ive been playing for about a 1/2hr and had it happen 4 times. The last time it lost a bunch of my activity. Final fantasy is my all time favorite game but this app needs to be fixed.
