An update would be nice but this workaround helped me. To fix this, swipe your settings menu up during game play. The quick menu that gives you quick access to wifi, music, torch, calculator, etc. Play with your volume bar a little bit then swipe the screen away and the game sound will be back!

Needs an update because no sound and freezes. Must be something with new iOS. Please fix because I want to play.

Freezes once the female character has first dialogue

Game crashes at the very beginning after being resurrected by Manwa. This needs to be fixed.

This is by far one of the best FF games. However on the iPhone 6 plus running ISO 8.3 the game freezes while opening Chests or resting at the inns. Update needed to fix these bugs.

I downloaded this game after not having played it in a few years and was really excited to do so. I went through the intro to the point where Firion met back up with Maria and the gang and it just froze after she said she thought he was dead. I tried everything. Reinstalled the game numerous times with the exact same outcome. I want my money back.

SquareEnix, I hope you read these. You really need to update Final Fantasy II. It keeps crashing after staying at the inn, the sound does not launch upon entering the game and save files corrupt frequently. I am sure this is an iOS version issue but an update to look at these issues would be great. I cant wait to play Soul of Rebirth.

4S user running latest iOS. No audio, and freezes once Firion talks to Maria after he wakes up. Do not buy until this game is fixed. Shame that a AAA company takes so long to fix their games. Do they even test their games after every iOS update?

FFII has no sound and freezes with a blank white screen after the first cutscene in iOS 8 on an iPhone 6. Original Final Fantasy works without any problem.

An app without sounds is nothing at all

Every time I go to rest at an inn it freezes, which really ruins the entire experience. If I cant rest I cant progress much, and I lose interest in the game. So until the bug is fixed, the game is meh.

Game freezes after a few minutes of gameplay. Refunds should be given. These games are not cheap!

Cant get through the opening part of the game ... Rubbish ... It Just freezes on the same screen every time, no response to any input

Decided to replay this after buying it a few years ago. Was surprised to find that I couldnt proceed more than 30 seconds into a new game before the game permanently freezes. Great job SE. What better way to ensure that the public keeps buying your endless parade of remakes and reissues than by breaking all the old versions?

Great game but crashes every 2 mins making it totally unplayable

The game is one of my favourite Final Fantasies, but the app freezes all of the time. The opening scene when Maria gets her dialogue, and the Salamand Inn. Ive only gotten that far, but Im sure theres much more. And it happens every single time.

Ive had this game for a while and it used to play great, i recently got back into it but noticed that the game freezes in multiple spots, most notably when using an in, the party will sleep then just stand beside their beds. Also, in the part where you take back Fynn, the game freezes when leila rejoins the party, making it unable to continue the game. PLEASE FIXX!!! :(

Purchased this as part of the bundle. Game got to where main character finds two friends and would crash - never going any further - about 2 min. of gameplay. Have uninstalled / reinstalled - same issue. Wishing other users better luck.

Cannot get past intro while on ios8. Needs to be tweaked.
